Things To Do
May. 13th, 2008 11:42 am1. The main thing I need to do is clean the entire house. And de-clutter the toys but I'm starting to wonder if that will actually happen. So far, I have picked-up/cleaned the guest room, Ellie/Frisco's room, the guest bathroom, and the TV room. My goal was to do one room a day until I leave, but I'm a bit ahead of that. I'll do our bedroom and bathroom tomorrow and leave the downstairs for Thursday and Friday.
2. I really, really wanted to get the toys into the garage but before I can do that, I need to make some room in the garage. Besides the fact that it's really hot and there are tons of mosquitoes, everything in the garage is really heavy. But, just so I get it written down, my plan is to throw away the desk, move all the winter clothes containers into the storage area (this means moving the surfboards first since they block the gate), condense the stuff that's left and then begin to move the toys out. Also, I'd like to find a decent way to organize the strollers and Ellie's cars/bikes/trikes, but that may be a bridge too far.
3. I'm leaving a week from tomorrow for my parents' house. I'll be there for about 6 weeks. I need to pack one suitcase for myself and one for Ellie and Frisco. I also need to bring Frisco's carseat (my parents already have one for Ellie but I don't really like the baby seat they have. Too hard to buckle and it doesn't feel that safe.) I'm thinking about not bringing a stroller this time around. I *think* Ellie is big enough to handle walking and I may even have her carry her little rolling backpack with her books and stuff in it. Traveling with Ellie *and* Frisco stresses me out just a bit.
